What Size Hoop Do I Need?
Kids’ hoops don’t work so well for adults. A larger, heavier hoop will have the weight and momentum to rotate more naturally thus making it easier to learn new moves. As your skills progress, you may find that you enjoy smaller hoops. A general rule of thumb for finding out what diameter hoop you need is to measure from the floor to four fingers above your belly button. This should give you an estimate. If you have a larger waist, go for a bigger hoop. We have a few different sizes for you to try and see what feels right for you!

I was so excited about Athens Hoop Dance that I’ve ordered four hoops for Christmas gifts.

I bought eight for the studio and everyone loves them – now all my students want their own to take home!

I *love* my hoop – nice size, light but weighty, and really gives me lots of variety in movement. Beautiful colors!
