Dana Skelton – Instructor and Performer
Dana Skelton started hooping with friends in Fall of 2008 at Canopy Studio. Dana fell in love with hoopdance and became a Hoopnotica certified and licensed instructor in January of 2009. Dana teaches beginning level workshops to provide the opportunity for others to experience the many benefits of hooping – fitness, fun, community, and creativity.
Allison Workman – Instructor, Performer, Hoop Maker
Allison Workman found hooping in Spring of 2008 as a way to have fun and get some exercise while at home with her then-2-year-old son. She started hooping with Dana Skelton in Fall 2008 and became so enthralled she began making her own hoops to share the hoop-love locally. I am writing a book about contemporary hooping and would like to visit you in mid October, on a road trip from back east to out west, where I live in Berkeley, CA.
